Oct. 6th APALA DC Membership Meeting Re-Cap

Last night we we re-capped the highlights of our past year and gave a summary of what went on at our National Convention in Oakland this past July as well as our DC Chapter officers’ retreat and recently concluded National Executive Board meeting in Los Angeles. We want to continue the momentum that we’ve worked to build this year for APA workers and continue solidifying our membership as we approach 2012.
We also showed the 2011 APALA Convention Generations United Mentorship video and we encourage you to become a mentor or mentee, you can fill out the application here.
One of the major highlights of yesterday’s meeting was the formation of different committees! There are many exciting projects that the DC chapter is looking forward to doing, and if you want to get more active, we encourage you to join one.
