Why John Became an APALA-DC Member

Screen shot 2013-01-29 at 10.24.46 AMI became an APALA member because it is the only entity that bridges the work on progressive Asian Pacific American issues and the labor movement. I’m so proud of the work that APALA has done to address and educate on the plight of Asian Pacific American workers through their National-level and local-level worker rights hearings. APALA not only works on Asian Pacific Issues, it also has been a strong ally of the LGBT and immigrant communities, where it has been out in the frontlines with these communities to fight against bullying, marriage equality and a progressive comprehensive immigration reform. APALA is all-inclusive. If you believe in the fight for worker’s rights and equality, you should join APALA!
